READY FOR ACTION— The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office unveiled its new mobile incident command post vehicle during a news conference May 11 at the Ventura County Government Center in Ventura. The truck is the first of two ordered by the sheriff’s office and will replace a pair of trailers that have been used since the 1990s. The new mobile command post has a conference room, a dispatch area, upgraded mobile radios to communicate with all area law enforcement and fire service agencies, as well as internet access.
