The sleek baby product collapses at the touch of a button making it a space-saving stroller that's easy to pack in the car with all your other holiday essentials

Buying the perfect pram for a newborn is a complete minefield, naturally, new parents want the best of comfort for their little one as we proudly show them off to the world. Since welcoming my baby boy back in November I've been a complete fan of my Silvercross travel system and there's been no product that's come close, the brand is like the Rolls-Royce of the pram world.

But there's one small problem with my trusty two-piece, you can't take it onto an aeroplane and so in order to get to the Balearics this summer my six-month-old son, Luca, now also needs a stroller. It's daunting enough thinking about the long list of baby stuff I need to pack and planning bottle feeds for the journey abroad without the extra worry of how we're going to push the cutie-pie around.

When looking at strollers there are three main points I feel are important: being easily foldable, having an SPF-safe canopy, and being comfortable enough for babies to lay down for a nap without getting sun rays on their face. So we took the Nuna TRVL Stroller for a test drive on a weekend trip to the Kent coast before our Spanish break and it was a complete game-changer.

The Nuna TRVL stroller looks sleek with black material teamed with brown leather push and arms bars. Dubbed the Cavier, the best feature is it folds itself into a compact package that stands on its own at the touch of a button making it easy to lift and store in the car boot, which also gives a lot more room in the vehicle for other travel necessities.

The wheels roll nicely and turning is effortless plus there's good suspension making it easy to use over varied terrain. Although it's really lightweight, weighing only 7kg, the quality isn't comprised at all and is made from luxurious fabrics. Reclining the padded seat and sitting my baby up is also very straightforward using either a small leaver to lay down or sit up by pulling on a strap.

But here's why it's a game-changer. Some babies are not sleep enthusiasts, including my baby boy, however, when I laid him in the Nuna for the first time with the seat reclined - he fell to sleep and took a nap in it straight away meaning I could enjoy a cappuccino and small chunk of me-time before our staycation got into full swing. This is a good indication Luca is comfortable in the Nuna, happy baby - happy parents.

As the sun beat down on the Kent coastline, the canopy provided enough shade from UV rays whilst the peephole at the top made checking on Luca easier and gave me peace of mind as I'm used to having him sitting in his pram facing me. The magnetic buckle made securing Luca a doddle although extending the harness at the top of the straps seems fiddly to adjust and will take some getting used to.

During my trip, my favorite part of using the stroller was being able to fold it down, with only one hand may I add, and very easily carry it over some stones and re-open it on a sandy beach. This allowed Luca to sit up comfortably and admire the beach for the first time, a fantastic family experience we wouldn't have enjoyed if he didn't have the Nuna with us.

The Nuna TRVL stroller is priced at £350 and is worth every penny if you're looking for a modern, well-designed and convenient pushchair that takes minimal effort to fold down and can be used from a newborn stage and as your baby grows. Although you will need to purchase a rain cover separately and practice adjusting the harness.

Without a doubt, the Nuna will be coming on our Spanish holiday later in the summer.
